Dark, hidden worlds exist and sometimes, in the depth of night, when the light from a distant string of carnival lights spills across the darkness to an eerie silence, those hidden worlds are exposed – but only to those who dare to look.

A glimpse. A mirage. A silhouette. Revealing masks beneath masks; stories untold. The twisted, parallel universes we dare not share. The dark, sordid secrets. Confusion, delusion and insecurities we bury within.

Silhouette Cabaret brings together some of the countries best performers to delve into the other realm, and to bring to life these dark, hidden worlds in a mysterious and mystical 2 hour cabaret show like you've never seen before. Narrated by two of the Gold Coast's most dastardly lead performers, the show explores the internal struggles of day-to-day life; issues of suppressed sexuality, inequality, identity and mental instability through the mediums of song, dance, silhouette, mask, aerial performance, contortion, fire, acrobatics and much more, all designed to deliver a mesmerising, high-impact, decadent and decidedly dark feature.
